Breakfast

As many of our regular guests know,
our breakfasts are an important part of the day
and have been called, “A breakfast to die for”.

There are the usual cereals, museli, yogurt and fruits, and for those with an appetite, some of our super Suffolk Cure Bacon, from the butchers in Leiston. Our meaty real sausages are also from there, he has a huge range, but I like the pork and herb for a breakfast sausage. The eggs, of course, are from local free ranging hens.

We are firm believers that happy animals make for a happy breakfast, so our breakfast products are bought from carefully chosen outlets. Of course, you don’t have to eat the whole lot! You might just choose a small selection, but you must leave room for some of our freshly baked bread, and homemade jams and marmalades!

For vegetarians, try our Suffolk Fraize, a sort of Omelette cum Pancake, filled with seasonal vegetables. This is an old Suffolk recipe, and goes back to the time when farm workers would take one out to the fields...a sort of yesteryear pitta bread!

It is best to let me know before hand if you would like to try one, just to make sure I have all the right ingredients in.
