Special New Year Break - Click here to find out more . . . .

If you have never been to Suffolk before, then it’s time to give it a try! Wonderful stretches of water, over rivers and estuaries, give way to tangy scented forests, heathland and marsh. We are at the centre of a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, rich in bird and wildlife, and many of our walks cover the area known as The Sandlings, whose emblem, the Moth or Nightjar, can be seen in various places during our days walking.

Tread Suffolk has been providing popular walking breaks since 2002, so have a look at our new programme, and give us a ring if you want to know more. ‘Tis said that we have less rainfall, and longer hours of sunshine than the rest of the country!

The price includes dinner, bed, breakfast, packed lunch and guided walks, and no single supplement. Accommodation will be at local B&B’s, Guest Houses, or small hotels, and the walks mostly include areas of heathland, rivers, coastal, estuaries, forest, marsh and farm tracks. Suffolk is not completely flat as some may think, but is gently undulating, with stunning views over the water. There is not room here to describe all the walks, but, being so close to the coast, some are walked from home, whilst others are just a short car journey to the start.
