NORDIC WALKS 2010

You will see that there are now some Saturday walks too, for those who are at work during the week. Please remember I have to drive a hec of a way to get to these walks for you, so I MUST have at least six people on a walk, otherwise I pay more in petrol than I get for a walk. So if we find that there are two on a mid week and two on a Saturday, neither will run! We will try it and see how it goes

Tuesday 1st June Hollesley Common
4½ miles see above for parking.
Tuesday 8th June Ramsholt Walk

Saturday 12th June All day Summer Walk & gourmet picnic! 8 -9 miles Meet at Dunwich Beach Free car park. £10pp to include super picnic glass of wine and drinks. Depending on weather, maybe along river, or inland if river or weather not viable

£3 OWN POLES, £4 MY POLES

Remember, you must phone or e mail at least 48 hours in advance, I need to know numbers, I will not turn up on the off chance, as I live a long way away!

In case of rain, ring that morning to see if walk is going ahead, OR to cancel if you are not keen on rain!

Remember, you must phone or e mail at least 48 hours in advance, I need to know numbers, I will not turn up on the off chance, as I live a long way away!

Wet coats need to be small enough to put in your small day sac, you can’t tie them round your waist for Nordic Walking. Please wear small proper rucksacs and not shoulder bags, as your arms need to be free for the proper use of poles. Shoes need to be good quality, sturdy waterproof trainers, or lightweight walking boots. Because some of our walks are longish, and over rougher terrain, I do allow walking boots of a lightweight type.

Please get the dates in your diaries early, and e mail if you are coming, so that I know numbers and poles
