Nordic Walking only works if we do it
regularly. The best way to achieve this is to join us on our many
lovely walks
Walks take place about three times a week, so there is plenty
of choice! And no excuses, saying you are too busy!!
We walk on sandy tracks inland and by rivers, tramp through forests,
explore the beautiful Suffolk Heathlands, and all the while taking
in breathtaking views ... we don’t march all day ignoring
our countryside!
For some, our walks have become just as much social, as an exercise
regime. Meeting regularly allows you to feel your own strength
and stamina, working on the areas you are less happy about.
Choose a mileage to suit you. Normally walks are between three
and five miles, with a few a bit longer if you feel like stretching
yourself. Some are three miles to one point, and we carry on with
others that want a bit more distance, making it five.
Whatever your needs there will be a walk to suit you. The terrain
is easy, being soft woodland, heaths, and easy tracks, all found
here on the Eastern side of Suffolk and fairly near the coast.
If you live a little way away, then share a car to cut down costs.
